The internet never forgets... John, There’s no other way to put it: the GOP is really starting to fall apart. Voters are starting to take notice here in Colorado, too. This week, CNN reported that Senate GOP officials are wavering on whether or not they should support Colorado GOP Senate nominee Joe O’Dea. We think we know why. O’Dea has side-stepped on whether or not he would support a national abortion ban, admitting that he voted “in 2020 to ban abortion after 22 weeks of pregnancy, and acknowledged that he would’ve voted for the conservative justices who decided the case” (CNN). The GOP may be in a downward spiral, and trying to conceal their extremism on abortion and election denial, but we can’t take anything for granted. We have to work to keep pro-choice, pro-environment, pro-democracy members of the Senate like Michael Bennet doing the work that we sent him to D.C. to do. We are very lucky to have public servants like Sen. Bennet and experienced state lawmakers like Yadira Caraveo and Brittany Peterson working as hard as they are to represent Colorado in Washington, D.C. They are doing everything they can to stop the GOP’s dangerous, white nationalist, anti-woman agenda. But they can’t do it alone. Every day, these hard-working lawmakers are fighting for us. Can you chip in to help remind voters to show up and vote for them in November?
