I don’t need to tell you that we’re in the fight of our lives in this year’s midterms. Our rights and our freedoms have been under assault across the country like never before, and this year's election may well determine the fate of American democracy itself.

A former union member, she has always fought hard for working people. Under her leadership, Vermont raised the minimum wage, increased funding for affordable housing, and expanded access to childcare, helping tens of thousands of working families.

While the Supreme Court and Republican led states have been stripping away reproductive rights, Becca led the fight in the Vermont legislature to pass the strongest reproductive rights protections in the nation. When the NRA and the gun lobby worked to stop gun safety legislation in her state, Becca took them head on and passed the first gun safety laws in Vermont’s history.

Becca is a fighter, John, plain and simple. She has the guts to stand up for what’s right, and with our democracy hanging in the balance against Donald Trump and his MAGA extremists, we need people like her in Congress now more than ever.
