Wednesday, September 7, 2022 [ [link removed] ]
Statistics in Schools (SIS) brings school subjects to life using real-world Census Bureau statistics, including the American Community Survey (ACS). The ACS is a nation-wide survey designed to provide communities with reliable and timely social, economic, housing, and demographic data every year. This webinar will explain the variety of resources and activities that are freely available for teachers to use in K-12 classrooms from the SIS site. The webinar will also cover a variety of real-world uses of ACS data, how it can be useful in classrooms, and a demonstration of data tools available to access ACS data.
