Hey y'all,
So much of what makes us stuck is not knowing our place in the
world. We give into limiting stories about who we are and who we
are supposed to be. We get caught up in proving, performing,
perfecting and pleasing. We hustle, take care of everyone else,
lose ourselves in the process. And yet we are all yearning to
thrive.
Bayo Akomolafe reminds us that "these times are urgent, we must
slow down". True healing demands that we find places of refuge
that allow us to detox and recover from the overwhelm of these
times and recalibrate with what matters most.
Retreats are not an escape. Rather they are an opportunity to get
back into relationship with ourselves, with each other and with
what we love and value in the world. When we are able to slow
down amidst the chaos, the clarity and capacity emerge to help us
live more just and joyful lives.

Introducing the first ever American Detox Retreat (October
20 - 23rd 2022). ( [link removed] ) Hosted in the
mountains of Topanga Canyon (30 minutes outside of LA) and
nourished by abundant nature, plant based meals, movement
practice, hot/cold plunges and restful oasis, we will be guided
through an embodied experience of creative inquiry and
inspiration towards the transformation we deserve and so
desperately need. Together we will explore themes like:
* Recovering from perfectionism
* Unlearning scarcity
* Getting out of our own way
* Finding our purpose and place in the world
* Going from limiting beliefs to poses of possibility
* Practicing joy
This journey is an invitation back to yourself. Through radical
inquiry, embodied detox, joyful movement, and creative
collaboration, we will confront whatever is in the way of
our potential and recalibrate our lives around purpose and
possibility. Here's a taste of what you can expect:

PS - If you're ready for a real adventure, Join Michelle
Cassandra Johnson and I in Panama for a post-holiday detox and
refuge (November 27th - December). This retreat is for leaders
and change makers who understand that in order to keep going and
sustain in our work in the world, we need to do the healing and
recovery that is necessary to reclaim our wholeness and live into
our purpose with joy and resilience. It is going to be a dynamic
experience of rest, rejuvenation and reimagining the next phase
of our work and lives.
