John, Joe Manchin lied to our faces.
He told the American people point blank that he wouldn’t raise taxes during a recession.
Then he turned around and voted for the “Inflation Reduction Act” (IRA), which increases taxes by $740 billion.
That’s right.
He claimed to oppose recession-era tax hikes only to turn around and vote for a bill that will force Americans earning under $400,000 to pay $20 BILLION more in taxes.
They will also face far more audits from the 87,000 new IRS agents that will be hired and possibly armed because of the IRA.
