John,
Netflix CEO Reed Hastings must think it’s hilarious to mock the life of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, His disciples, and the Blessed Mother. Better yet, he must have thought you would find it funny too! As a Christmas feature, Netflix will show a film titled "The First Temptation of Christ," which depicts Jesus Christ as a homosexual, His disciples are alcoholics and unruly, and the Virgin Mary is presented as an adulterous woman. They are misusing artistic expression and humor as an excuse to attack Christianity. Do you find the life of our Savior being distorted as a homosexual funny? I wouldn’t think so! And that’s why I am writing to you again. We are asking Netflix to cancel this movie as it mocks Christianity, especially now as we approach Christmas. Please sign this petition right away:

Netflix's poor track record doesn't give them a pass to feature deplorable content. After immense backlash from conservatives throughout 2019, Netflix reported shattering losses of $17 billion in overall value, which caused their stock to dive more than 10%. In fact, this was the first time in 8 years that Netflix reported negative membership totals. How does Reed Hastings respond? By insulting you! Netflix runs off of a membership-driven business model. They need to listen to customers and potential future customers when they speak.
Thank you, Gregory Mertz and the entire CitizenGO Team P.S. You can also click to share! My colleague Caroline Farrow sent you an action alert email a couple of days ago. She is equally as fired up about this as I am. For more information, check out Caroline’s email below.

Dear John,
As a mother, I find myself always concerned about the content that children have access to view. Whether it's a movie on the Hallmark Channel, a television show, or something you can find on Netflix, I am encouraging parents and concerned CitizenGOers around the world to use your voice to let programming decision-makers know what we find acceptable.

This Christmas, Netflix will show a film by a Brazilian production group titled "The First Temptation of Christ," which depicts Jesus Christ as a homosexual.
Using humor and art as an excuse, this film attacks Christianity in an unprecedented manner. And more shocking, they supposedly produced this film as a "Christmas" film for viewers! The film presents Christ as having relations with a homosexual while the disciples are alcoholics and unruly. The Virgin Mary is presented as an adulterous woman. We are asking Netflix to cancel this movie as it mocks Christianity especially now as we approach Christmas, which is why it is important for you to sign this petition right away:

Until recently the anti-Christian works by Portas Do Fondos were only published on their YouTube channel. But this year, Netflix has decided to buy its production and distribution rights in a clear validation of the group's blasphemous content.
It is an absolutely unacceptable provocation. No one has the right to attack the faith of millions of people around the world. This type of supposed 'entertainment' has one aim -- to attack against Christianity. That is why we are asking Netflix to remove this brutal attack on faith. We need you, we need to be more active in our fight against apply content. Please sign our petition now:
Add your name: Ask Netflix to cancel the blasphemous film depicting Jesus as a homosexual.
By signing this petition, you will be sending an email to the following Netflix executives expressing your disagreement with their film: - Reed Hastings, founder and CEO of Netflix
- Jeff Hensien, Head of the Netflix Consumer Service Department
- Ted Sarandos, Netflix Content Manager
We need to let Netflix know what is appropriate.
Sign here to ask Netflix to cancel this film that is aimed at attacking Christianity. Add your name to this petition, and then pass it along to your friends. Thank you, Gregory Mertz and the entire CitizenGO Team P.S. Our work exposing Netflix's content and poor behavior has been meaningful. After months of intense backlash from conservatives, they reported shattering losses of $17 billion in overall value, which caused their stock to dive more than 10%. In fact, this was the first time in 8 years that Netflix reported negative membership totals. Wall Street got very jittery when they lost 126,000 subscribers in the United States and failed to meet their international goals. We need to keep up our pressure.
