Friend,

One of the biggest lessons I learned when serving in Iraq is that it matters a great deal who is leading our government.

After seeing $2 trillion wasted and countless lives lost right in front of me, I came back with the realization that our government needs leaders who have worn the uniform and know the responsibility of service — not career politicians.

So, I went to work as a White House Fellow under President Obama. One of the projects closest to my heart focused on helping veterans get medical jobs after leaving the service.

I was trying to make life easier for the service members I worked with in Iraq who were willing to put it all on the line for our country. So when bureaucrats put up barriers to getting the project done, it was disheartening.

I’ve decided to run for Congress because I’m tired of career politicians who pay lip service to my community and then vote against our needs.

Will you help me flip CA-03 blue and go to Congress to actually stand up for our veterans? Any amount you can give helps our campaign.

Thank you for listening,
