Friend,

President George Washington signed the Judiciary Act into law in September 1789, creating the Office of the Attorney General. Since that time, we’ve relied on the occupants of that office to defend the rule of law — at all costs and at all times.

But the current Attorney General, Bill Barr, hasn’t spent his time defending the rule of law. Instead, he’s bent over backward to provide political cover for the President, prioritized partisan talking points over the facts, and attacked the professionalism of hard-working law enforcement officials.

Frankly, that’s disqualifying. The attorney general is our nation’s top law enforcement official and if he’s unwilling to place the rule of law over his own political opinions, he can’t be trusted at the helm of the Department of Justice.

I believe Bill Barr should resign from his position, effective immediately. Do you agree? Take my survey and let me know.

  • Recently, after the DOJ inspector general concluded that there was no evidence of political bias in the FBI’s probe into the Trump campaign, Attorney General Barr publicly disputed the findings, placing his own political opinions over the facts of the matter.

  • Earlier this year, right before Special Counsel Robert Mueller released his report into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible Trump campaign contacts with Russian intelligence, Attorney General Barr released his own “summary” of the report, which fundamentally omitted key conclusions and misinterpreted others in an attempt to protect the President.

These are the actions of an attorney general who’s simply unable to perform the duties of his office independently from his political allegiances.

Bill Barr must resign. What do you think? Do you agree? Tell me your thoughts.
