We’ve continued to notice a concerning trend in our online
fundraising, John.

Pramila relies on small-dollar donations from our grassroots supporters.
She doesn’t take a dime from the corporate PACs that have massive
influence in Congress. So, it’s significant that we saw a 19% decrease in
online fundraising last quarter.

And it’s worrying that this downward fundraising trend continues even as
we approach the midterms.

Here’s what’s on the line in a tough midterm year:

Over the last few months, our campaign has provided field organizing,
phone banking, and fundraising support for people-first progressives
running in primaries and Democrats running in tough swing district races
against Republicans. Pramila has traveled to be on the ground to knock
doors and build support for Democrats in states across the country. That
all costs money. It’s work we can only sustain with your support.

The GOP is throwing everything it can at Democrats in swing districts and
swing states in order to take back the majority. We can’t allow Congress
to fall back into the hands of Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell.
Republicans are the party of the Big Lie, destabilizing our democracy,
undoing abortion rights, and attacking the LGBTQIA+ community. We
absolutely must defeat the GOP and hold our majorities in November.
Pramila is committed to helping Democrats in the toughest races win.
