Hi John,

For the third time this year, the Trump administration is going after a program that puts food on the table for hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvania families and children.

Right now, the president wants to cut the SNAP budget by $4.5 billion despite the fact that the program plays a critical role in our country’s social safety net and keeps millions from falling into poverty.

With the holidays coming up and cold winter nights ahead of us, families shouldn’t have to worry about how they’re going to put food on the table, but the new rule from the Trump administration will kick nearly 700,000 households -- including almost 8,000 Pennsylvania families -- off of the program entirely.

Thank you for joining us in this important fight.
