It's clear that if we want to continue growing our movement and keep Pittsburgh a union town, we need to elect Summer to Congress.
John — rain or shine, Summer Lee shows up for labor.
Summer and our team had a great time at the Allegheny County Labor Day parade yesterday. We joined together with elected officials and friends to march with workers and celebrate the victories that unions have won for us all.
Summer knows unions are one of our greatest tools to reduce inequality, raise wages, and support better benefits and job protections, so she's ready to fight for a robust worker power that reflects the racial, gender, and industry diversity that a 21st-century labor movement demands.
It's time for our laws to protect unions and strengthen workers' rights to organize.
In the state legislature, Summer has advocated for legislation that supports a livable wage and aims to close the exploitive gap between skyrocketing corporate profits and working people's poverty wages. And in Congress, Summer will work to see the PRO Act become law, pass a Green New Deal with a union jobs guarantee, raise the minimum wage, and strengthen the labor movement.
It's clear that if we want to continue growing our movement and keep Pittsburgh a union town, we need to elect Summer to Congress. If you agree, will you chip in $5 or more now to help advance worker solidarity and build our campaign to win on November 8?

P.S. Election Day is exactly nine weeks away. Can you chip in $5 or any amount now to power our campaign to elect a true advocate for workers to represent PA-12 in Congress?
