Hi Friend,

Over the weekend, Judge Glen Whitley, a Republican representing battleground Tarrant County, and State Senator Kel Seliger (R), who represents the most Republican State Senate district in Texas, threw their support behind my race for Lt. Governor.

They know that Dan Patrick is bad for business, bad for working families, and bad for Texas. And they know -- because they work with him.

Since the day he stepped into office, Patrick has done the bidding of shadowy players who fill his campaign coffers. For eight long years, he has manufactured crisis after crisis, while refusing to solve the very real problems facing our state. So now, it’s all-hands-on-deck to join together and fight back against Dan Patrick.

Like I’ve said since the start of my campaign -- this race goes beyond party lines. This election is about the fight for the future of our state. We are building a coalition across the state and across the aisle so that we can build a state where every Texan has the opportunity to thrive.

But I can’t get there without your support. We need your help to get our message out to Texans across the state.

Can you chip in today and split a contribution with me and the Texas Democratic Party to fuel our work? [link removed]

There are only two months left. Make no mistake: we’re closing the gap, and Texas is very much in play. We can and will win this thing with your help.

Let’s finally kick Dan Patrick out of office.

Thanks,
Mike
