Yesterday, I had the privilege of marching with our county's workers in Pittsburgh. It was amazing to be part of this event celebrating the unions that move our community forward and the workers who keep the district running.
Our district is better because of all the workers who have fought for better wages, better benefits, and ethical and safe working conditions. I am honored to fight alongside them for a better Pennsylvania, and I promise: I will always stand with our workers.
Dr. Arvind Venkat is running for the State House because we need a representative who has served our community through crises big and small and will use these experiences to advocate for everyone in the district.
Arvind is an ER doc who is always looking for ways to give back to the community that means so much to him and his family. He serves on the McCandless-Franklin Park Ambulance Authority and helps develop innovative programs in the ER to improve the health of our community.
Arvind wants to bring that foundation of service and common purpose to the State House on behalf of the people of Hampton, McCandless, Franklin Park, Ohio Township, Emsworth, Ben Avon, Ben Avon Heights, and Kilbuck – the new District 30.
