TDI proposes updates to inland marine rules

The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) seeks comments on an informal working draft of amendments to the inland marine insurance rules. The proposed changes:

* conform the rules to Senate Bill 1367 [ [link removed] ], passed in 2021, and House Bill 2587 [ [link removed] ], passed in 2019;
* update statutory references; and
* make style improvements.

The changes primarily reflect that insurers do not need to file policy forms or rates for commercial inland marine classes.
