Team, here’s the update on where we stand: according to FiveThirtyEight’s polling database, the polling in this district shows Brittany with an average lead of just 2.5%. The percentage of voters who are undecided is much greater than the margin separating the two candidates.

Obviously, it’s better to be just ahead than just behind. But here’s what most concerns us:

A super PAC determined to restrict abortion rights has booked over $4 million worth of TV ads in Colorado to attack Brittany over the next few weeks. If we don’t fight back, that kind of big spending can erase our fragile lead very quickly.

Team, if we lose this race, we could lose the House majority along with it — as well as our ability to pass laws protecting the right to choose, preserving gay marriage, and defending voting rights. We can’t let that happen.
