Friend -- last week, Dean voted to pass the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, a bill to hold drug companies accountable for the exorbitant prices they charge Americans.

This bill -- HR 3 -- is historic for many reasons, but here's a big one: It wouldn't have passed in previous years. Pharmaceutical companies spend more on lobbying Congress than ANY other industry. For years, this has gotten them preferential treatment from legislators who have been scared to take on their power.

Not anymore. Leaders like Dean aren't afraid to stand up to deep-pocketed interests like Big Pharma. This is exactly why we elected him to Congress. He's working on issues that we care about, and he's prepared to take real action to achieve progress.
