[link removed] [[link removed]]Hi John, this is my least favorite part of the summer. We've just said goodbye to another wonderful class of Victory Congressional Interns (VCIs).
From the start of the summer, our 12 VCIs spent their time making essential career connections, learning the ropes on Capitol Hill and meeting LGBTQ thought leaders in the DC area. John, we're working hard to bring another amazing class of VCIs to DC next summer. Will you chip in $35 or more to help offset program costs like housing and transportation? >> [[link removed]]
While the summer had a lot of amazing moments, some really stood out. Each Friday, the VCIs and I would take a break from our office jobs and tour cultural landmarks and DC offices. At the Newseum, we visted an exhibit about queer history, diving into queer representation in media, the Stonewall Uprising and more.

We toured the Holocaust Museum and heard from Joël Nommick, who survived the Vichy regime in Nazi France as a child. After touring the museum, our VCIs also spoke with museum staffer Jake Newsome about the persecution of LGBTQ people during the Holocaust.

Another highlight was the Congressional Pride Reception - a yearly event for VCIs and Capitol Hill staffers to forge professional connections. This year, we celebrated U.S. Congressman David Cicilline, who fought tirelessly to pass The Equality Act in the U.S. House. And U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin spoke about her commitment to passing the Equality Act in the Senate.

John, we know this was a life-changing summer for our VCIs, and that they'll go on to do amazing things. Your support determines how many VCIs we can bring each year. Donate $35 or more today to help us fund future LGBTQ leaders. >> [[link removed]]
Thanks again for standing with our LGBTQ elected officials,
