John, I’ve made it my priority to travel across Pennsylvania and meet with folks from all walks of life. From rural to urban and East to West, I’ve hit the campaign trail almost every week to let communities know that they aren’t getting left behind.

Pennsylvania’s a pretty big state, and it takes a lot of resources to get around — that’s why I’m asking right now if you can chip in to fuel this campaign’s efforts to meet with voters? [[link removed]]

When I show up in those communities, John, I listen.

I’ve listened to the moms in Erie standing next to their minivans, telling me about how rising costs were making them wonder whether or not they were going to be able to take their kids to the activities that they wanted to go to.

I talked to the mom in a rural community living right next to a polluted area, worried that when she bathed her child that the water coming out of the tap wasn’t clean.

I listened to people in communities that oftentimes felt ignored and forgotten. The person who called the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania when the pandemic hit and they lost their job, and couldn't even get their calls returned.

I stood alongside the grandma in Lawrence County, who literally grabbed me by the lapels and pulled me into her face and said do not let us go back to what it was like before Roe.

The countless people who have stopped me along the way and just wondered whether or not our democracy was going to get through this. I have listened and I have heard those concerns, and I'm running to be your Governor not just to win an election, but to address those worries and to move Pennsylvania forward.

With just 64 days to go until November 8th, the polls are still showing that this is a nearly tied race. Because even though Doug Mastriano is as extreme as they get — he’s a literal insurrectionist who wants to ban all abortion with no exceptions — he has an army of grassroots supporters trying to elect him.

But Mastriano’s vision for Pennsylvania cannot come to pass. Instead, I’m focused on helping Pennsylvanians work with dignity for a liveable wage, defending a woman’s right to choose, and ensuring we all have access to the ballot box. That’s what I’ve been fighting for my whole career — and especially in this Governor’s race.

That's why I'm running to be your Governor. We have a lot of work to do, but first we need to win this election so that we can do that work. Will you donate now to help this campaign win on November 8th? [[link removed]]

I hear you, John. I hear your concerns, and I hear the struggles that you and your family are facing. I’m running this race to deliver results, which is why I’m so grateful for your support to help make it happen.

Thank you,

Josh Shapiro
