Democrats like Roy Cooper and President Biden know that climate change is an existential risk to this planet. That’s why Roy has repeatedly taken bold action to commit North Carolina to a clean energy future, and why President Biden and Democrats in D.C. recently passed the most aggressive legislation ever to combat climate change.

But too many in the GOP would rather sweep the issue under the rug. They continue to pretend that climate change isn’t a real problem (or even worse, that it’s a hoax). They even tried to block President Biden’s key legislation in a bare-faced political ploy. Republicans would rather stay on the good side of the Big Oil lobby than protect our planet’s future.

John, climate change is not something that we can afford to ignore.

If we refuse to address this crisis NOW, our world will face catastrophic climate disasters that could make it unlivable for future generations. That is not what ANY of us wants for our children and theirs — because we know there is no Planet B.
