Since June, we’ve asked our grassroots supporters to help us take on a new initiative to fight for abortion rights state-by-state. Thanks to your initial support, we were able to partner with more than a dozen abortion rights organizations, including groups in Kansas.

Your support helped these organizations recruit volunteers who texted voters to defeat the Kansas anti-abortion amendment. Since then, donations have flooded in and more organizations want to partner to defend abortion rights in their states.

Organizations across the country are pushing back, whether on harmful trigger laws – like in North Dakota, where a lawsuit has paused a trigger law – or on ballot initiatives to protect everyone’s right to choose what happens to their body.

We have expanded to 12 states, including nearly every battleground state on the map this year.

John, if the far-right extremists on the Supreme Court want to fight this battle state-by-state, we’ll fight back – and win! Your support helped us win in Kansas, and we know we can replicate that win over and over in other states. We’re working in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia to help abortion rights groups in those states bring in new supporters and push back on every attack.

We’re helping them identify and grow their support bases to achieve whatever outcome is needed to protect our rights. Whether it’s ballot initiatives, get-out-the-vote efforts, or community organizing, we’re committed to fighting for abortion rights in these states.

We saw in Kansas that turnout matters when it comes to protecting abortion rights.
