The Biden administration refuses to say if they conducted a cost analysis before implementing their $500 billion student loan bailout program.
Although this is frustrating, it isn’t particularly shocking or surprising, considering the Biden administration’s history of ignoring economic realities and pushing destructive policies.
President Biden's decision to cancel student loan debt is not only against the law, but is unfair to hardworking Wisconsinites who paid back their loans or pursued careers that don’t require a college education. Instead of dealing with the rising cost of tuition, this proposal simply takes the debt from the borrowers and heaps it on taxpayers to the tune of $500 billion or more.
This reckless student loan decision comes amid new tax hikes and continued inflation, both results of Biden's bad economic policies.
