I wanted to share some updates on what I’ve been working on with my top supporters. Here’s what I’ve been up to lately:

1. I co-hosted the 14th annual Military Family Summit at Fairchild Air Force Base. This summit is an opportunity for service members, their families, and Department of Defense officials to discuss issues impacting military families.

2. I announced that Fort Valley State University has been awarded $6,494,625 from the Department of Health and Human Services’ Early Head Start Child Care Partnership and Early Head Start Expansion Program. These funds will ensure affordable childcare services, early childhood development, and increased school readiness.

3. I attended the Democratic Party of Georgia’s True Blue 2022 convention. This was a wonderful opportunity for Georgia Democrats to come together, mobilize, and get ready for November while celebrating our historic, diverse slate of candidates up and down the ballot.
