Please join me for my town hall at Palatine High School on tonight 6:45pm, titled, "Standing Up to America’s Adversaries: Defending Democracy." I’m excited to announce that we’ll be joined for our discussion by Dr. Robert A. Pape, Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago and the director of the Chicago Project on Security and Threats. Professor Pape’s groundbreaking work on security issues, including international relations, the use of airpower, the causes of suicidal terrorism, and the politics of unipolarity, has drawn wide renown in the security policy community, as well as in mainstream media outlets including the New York Times, NPR, Fox News, and CNN. I have no doubt that we’ll all benefit from his knowledge and experience as we address the security challenges and opportunities facing our nation. I look forward to speaking with you. You can RSVP here.
