Dear Friends,
I am reaching out to remind you that I am holding a senior telephone town hall tomorrow, September 7, at 12:30 PM to help educate the community on common financial and cyber scams and share tips for fraud protection. Joining me will be Assistant Special Agent in Charge at the United States Secret Service Robert Hernandez, Acting Director of the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs Cari Fais, and Acting Essex County Prosecutor Ted Stephens to answer questions directly from residents.
The topic will be helpful to people of all age groups, as anyone can be targeted by scammers. However, this is a concern that I most often hear about from seniors and that will be the focus tomorrow.
