Hundreds of climate activists just spent the last few days leveling up
their campaigning skills as part of 350.org's FREE training series, which
was made possible because people like you donated to
support the training program.

I want to tell you a little about what they learned, and then ask you to

contribution to help us continue to skill up campaigners who will end the
era of fossil fuels.

In our Storytelling training session, folks learned the main components of
what makes a compelling story — community, purpose, and urgency — and how
focusing on hope can make storytelling so effective in climate
campaigning.

In another training session, How to Get Media Attention, campaigners
learned how to write press releases, what to say when speaking to the
media in interviews, and, of course, about the power of images when it
comes to campaigning for the climate:

Even more campaigners learned about how to create powerful actions, and
about what makes the most impact:

And in our Campaigns 101 session, activists learned about the building
blocks of developing a campaign, selecting a target, knowing what you
want, and knowing who can give it to you. One trainee said, "focus on
small wins, celebrate, and gain confidence that change is possible."
That's exactly what we want campaigners to think!

The next generation of climate campaigners are being trained right now —
these are the people who will bring an end to the era of fossil fuels. And
their campaigning education is only possible because of contributions from
