The study indicates lower-performing schoolchildren were impacted the most, with Black students scoring 13% lower in math compared to white students whose scores decreased by 5%. U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy called out Blumenthal, whose votes fueled learning loss in Connecticut schools. He also remained silent as radical school boards kept schools shut at the request of teachers’ union leaders, putting politics before kids.
