Welcome back, friend! We wanted to reach out just in case you missed Kelly’s Labor Day message yesterday. You’re probably coming back to a lot of emails, so we’ll keep this brief.

When working people stand together, we’ve been able to accomplish some pretty amazing things.

→ We’ve raised wages and put $22 billion into the pockets of workers;
→ We’ve expanded lifesaving health care via Medicaid to over 875,000 people ;
→ And we’ve changed the lives of 18 million for the better in the process.

This work was only possible because we stood together. And friend, it’s become pretty clear that when we build coalitions with unions, organizers, and working people everywhere, WE WIN!

This November, so much is at stake. Higher wages in Nebraska, expanded health care in South Dakota, stopping medical debt traps in Arizona, reproductive freedom in Michigan and Vermont, and so much more.

To win each of these campaigns, we need every single one of our supporters on board — you too, friend. Will you stand alongside working people in America and power each of these campaigns to victory with a donation today? [[link removed]]

Happy Labor Day, team!

This holiday was founded to recognize and celebrate the achievements of working people in America, and it’s a holiday that we at the Fairness Project hold close to our hearts.

The Fairness Project was born out of the labor movement, and we’re proud to honor the legacy of union organizers as we use direct democracy to fight for higher wages, better benefits, and economic fairness.

You see, friend, direct democracy and the labor movement are deeply connected, because both share an important guiding principle: When working people stand together, we WIN.

When we stand together, we win higher wages, better health care, paid medical and family leave, police accountability, reproductive freedom, and so much more. When we stand together, friend, we win social and economic fairness for millions — and THAT is worth celebrating.

So today we’re celebrating unions, organizers, and working people everywhere who have led the fight for progress. There are so many lessons we can learn by looking to the history of the labor movement — especially when it comes to building diverse coalitions that are strong enough to withstand attacks and change the status quo.

There’s lots more work to do, friend, but this Labor Day, will you join us in celebrating by signing our petition to show your support for working people in America? [[link removed]]

STAND WITH WORKERS → [[link removed]]Thanks, team. Have a safe and happy holiday weekend!
