We hope this email finds you well. We at the Ayni Institute are happy to announce a new series of free virtual workshops coming this fall! 

In these virtual workshops we will be exploring subjects such as Movement Ecology, Seasonality, and the Movement Breakthrough. These workshops will be brief, 2 hour sessions that are meant to serve as introductions to these different concepts and are free and open to anyone who is interested in any of these different movement frameworks. 

The Movement Breakthrough Workshop

Our first workshop, taking place on Tuesday September 20th from 5-7 PM ET, will be on the Movement Breakthrough, which is designed for social change leaders to understand the different vehicles that are at play in social change work and how the interrelate with one another. The Movement Breakthrough (also known as the Path of Leadership) allows us to explore and analyze the contradictions and tensions between these different vehicles and how we conflate their issues in different ways.

This framework also helps us understand the different levels at which social change happens and the journey social change makers embark on in order to create a difference in their respective contexts and levels.

If you are feeling the following problems or issues in your social change work, this workshop this might be good for you:

• Tension between your organization and rest of the broader movement.
• A lack of people or organizations that are not movement oriented, just solely focused on their organizations.
• Tension between leaders in your organization and their individual journeys and the organizations as whole.
• Gaps where many people want to dedicate their lifetime to this work but don’t have the support to do so.

If you are interested in bringing the Movement Ecology or Seasonality workshop to your group or organization and can't make the free workshop, we are also offering a limited amount of individual group presentations through the end of the year. These workshops would be introductory 2 hour presentations specific for your organization. We ask that you have at least 10 people committed to the workshop if you would like to request one.
