The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Medicaid CHIP Services (MCS) department seeks a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Behavioral Health Policy Analyst.
This position reports to one of the Medical Benefits Policy Managers in the Office of Policy, Medicaid and CHIP Services Department.
The Behavioral Health Policy Analyst (Program Specialist VI) performs complex behavioral health policy analysis and consultation. The position leads the development, planning, and implementation of behavioral health benefits for Texas Medicaid, including participating, and at times leading committees, work groups, and activities as requested.
While the Behavioral Health policy analyst's work will be primarily focused on BH related topics, if other needs arise or are prioritized by the department, the BH analyst could be asked to work on policy topics other than Behavioral Health. Flexibility in this position is important.
