As the pharmaceutical companies continue to rake in record profits, the price of insulin has tripled in the last decade, forcing one in four Ohioans living with diabetes to ration their insulin. This practice is dangerous and costs lives, but for many people it is their only choice.
Senator Hearcel Craig has introduced legislation that would cap the cost of insulin at $35 a month - joining 23 other states that have already taken this life-saving step.
