IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Monday, October 24th, 2022 is election day across all the municipalities in Ontario. On this day, the citizens of Ontario will select the Mayor, Regional Councillors, Town Councillors, School Trustees and a Regional Chair who will represent the people at the grassroots level for the next 4 years.

Municipal politics impact your life directly more than anything, as it affects where you live your life every day.

In the Town of Oakville, about a week before the Friday, August 19th, 2022 candidate registration deadline, five of the seven wards in Oakville had no one running against the incumbent Town Councillors and Regional Councillors! In fact, four (4) incumbents and two (2) trustees were ACCLAIMED the day of the August 19th deadline.

That's far too many!
I was asked to step forward and throw my hat into the ring.

I am the only one running against the incumbent in Ward 1 for Councillor for the Town of Oakville and the Region of Halton.

This is an opportunity for an actual check and balance in the Town of Oakville Council. Besides myself, others now have also stepped up in some of the other Oakville wards.

My commitment will be to my constituents. Even if we disagree I will serve the people of Oakville, honourably. I will make a difference as a Regional Councillor,

As Regional Councillors, we oversee public health, emergency services, waste management, zoning, construction and more. I will also have a voice on the Oakville Town Council where I can make a difference. I will be committed to truth and not be pressured into voting a certain way which compromises my values and the voices of my constituents!

If you would like to share some of your current concerns and issues in Oakville please do not hesitate to email me.
