Good morning,

Is the left at war with America? I'd like your opinion in this week's One Click Survey.

Here is the Texas Minute for Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

– Michael Quinn Sullivan

Who Is Making Texas Better? Each year, we’re proud to host the Conservative Leader Awards. While other organizations present awards to politicians, the Conservative Leader Awards dinner is about recognizing the efforts of grassroots activists and citizen-leaders.

Do you know someone in your neighborhood or community who is making a positive difference for life in Lone Star State? Whether it is someone who fronts an activist group or prefers to work in the background, we recognize these important leaders as examples of what each of us can do. Check out the list [[link removed]] of former award winners… and nominate [[link removed]] someone today!

Tickets [[link removed]] for the Dec. 3 dinner and awards ceremony are on sale now for the early-bird price. Get yours today [[link removed]]! PREVIEW: Border Education Summit at the Texas Capitol Experts and activists will gather at the Texas Capitol tomorrow to cover topics from trafficking and unaccompanied minors to cartels and government subsidies. Sydnie Henry has a preview [[link removed]].

Speakers include Senior Fellow at the Center for Renewing America Ken Cuccinelli, who has promoted the plan for states to declare an invasion and defend their sovereign borders—which 18 Texas counties have done so far—as well as U.S. Reps. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Jodey Arrington (R-TX). Chicago Mayor Says Bus Rides For Illegals Is ‘Racist’ Since April, Texas has paid for more than 8,000 illegal aliens to travel to Washington, D.C., and New York City on buses. The effort costs Texas taxpayers around $1,400 [[link removed]] per passenger. As Emily Wilkerson reports [[link removed]], the first bus of illegal aliens went to Chicago last week.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot described the program as “racist,” and has accused Abbott of having no morals or humanity.

Reminder #1: The program is 100% voluntary; the only illegal aliens who get bused are those who are looking for a free ride to NYC, Chicago, or Washington.

Reminder #2: Lori Lightfoot has no problem with the cartels transporting illegal aliens across Mexico and into Texas. COMING SOON… The new season of our EXPOSED podcast series launches next week!

The Chinese Infiltration of Texas. Prosper ISD Response To Sex Scandal ‘Doesn’t Pass the Smell Test’ A North Texas community is demanding answers in the wake of shocking revelations that a school bus driver got away with sexually abusing two little girls for the entire 2021-2022 school year—and that district officials covered up the crimes for months after they were discovered. Erin Anderson has the details [[link removed]].

Parents are furious that news reports about a lawsuit filed by the abuse victims’ family on August 25 were the first they heard about their children possibly being exposed to a molester who was identified and arrested in early May.

And those parents say [[link removed]] a statement issued by the school board in response to publicity about the crimes “doesn’t pass the smell test.” In fact, they say it increases their suspicions about board members’ complicity in the administration’s cover-up.

Texas school boards are trained to “speak with one voice” and operate as a collective along with the superintendent as a “Team of Eight.”

“Why was I never contacted that my child could have potentially come in contact with a child molester?” asked Lindsey Rios [[link removed]], the mother of a student in Prosper ISD. “Is your reputation more important than our children?” More Teachers Charged With Sex Assault Of Students Aside from the situation in Prosper, police have arrested more teachers [[link removed]] accused of sexually assaulting students in Irving and Mesquite schools. Silent on this matter has been the Texas State Teachers’ Association and the other labor unions for public school “educators.” TSTA has, though, been attacking parents for being involved in public school curriculum decisions.

Apparently, collecting those union dues is more important to labor unions than protecting kids in Texas’ classrooms. Quote-Unquote

Following a nationally televised speech in which Joe Biden radically villainized his political opponents, liberal political commentators immediately began referring to it as a "wartime address."
