I hope you have enjoyed your Labor Day weekend.

This is a day to recognize the sacrifices of so many laborers before us in the fight for workers’ rights.

Ohio has its own storied labor movement history, from manufacturing to major industry and so much more.

It’s only thanks to these workers that as Americans, we can spend so much more time with our families: Our 8 hour work day, our 5 day work week, and this 3 day weekend.

So I hope you take time today to honor the workers that paved the way for our lives today, and those who continue the work to better our community.

In Congress, I’ll continue my work as a public servant to advocate for OH-01 workers. It’s only because of their labor that our district will flourish — and they deserve a true voice in Washington fighting for them.
