John – let me tell you something I’ve learned from my time in politics: When it comes to campaigning, don’t just expect the unexpected, prepare for it.

We have been campaigning for well over a year now, and in that time, we’ve had plenty of encounters with the unexpected. But political campaigns are always chock-full of unexpecteds, so I've learned that it’s not about avoiding them, it's about how you prepare for them.

And this race just changed in a major way – a McConnell-aligned super PAC just made a MASSIVE $23 million ad buy in New Hampshire.

At every turn, we’ve been prepared to face these challenges, thanks in no small part to grassroots donors who gave even just $3, or $10 to this campaign.

Because New Hampshire has the latest primary in the nation, we still don’t know which of my extreme, anti-choice opponents I’ll face in November, but we are preparing for each and every one of them.

Now we just need the resources to implement our strategy for each outcome. And our ability to do that starts with contributions from people like you,  John.

As we enter the final sprint, there will no doubt be many more surprises. Because it is a question of when, not if, those surprises come. And when they do, we need to be able to fight back if we have any hope of winning this seat – and with it, the Senate majority.

With your support, the proper resources, and plenty of preparation, we can win this race and protect our razor-thin Senate majority.

With every good wish,
Maggie Hassan
