• Prepping For The 88th Session - STATEWIDE!  If you are new to TTP (and most of you are) you may not realize the significance of what's about to happen in Texas!  Our legislature is only in session for 5 months every 2 years, and it begins in January.  We spend Sept, Oct, and Nov prepping for it by hosting 3 different meetings:

*a panel of specialists on key topics to watch
*a panel of like-minded legislators to discuss tips and priorities
*Texas Scorecard to help us focus in and unify efforts statewide

All locations will host these meetings, so find 'em on our events page and plan to attend!  This is where you'll get your marching orders to help save Texas!  You must put the ACT in ACTivist!

  • Constitution Boot Camp!  For many of you, this is the last class you need to become a Certified True Texan!  For some, it might be your first class in the process.  For some, you don't care about certification but simply want to actually enjoy learning about our Constitution! It's a fun class!  Do not miss this opportunity.  September is Constitution Month, and we are offering the class in 2 areas:  the DFW Metroplex on Sept 17 and in Central Texas on Sept 24.

We likely won't offer it again for a whole 'nother year, so get it while you can!  You must register.  The cost is $35, but reply to this email if you need a scholarship.  

  • TTP Leadership Summit - Ok, this is a little sneaky because you are NOT necessarily invited to this event.

Oh, it's gonna be a blast -- a ton of fun with lots of entertainment, training, fellowship, and free food/hotel plus a free TTP leadership jersey, but you are only invited if you are on the leadership team in your local TTP satellite location.  How do you get on leadership?  VOLUNTEER!  What are you waiting for?  We have dozens of positions that need to be filled - anything from venue coordinator, AV lead, registration lead, social activities coordinator, merchandiser, guest relations, hospitality, advertising, food team lead, child care coordinator, or prayer leader.  If you sign up before the end of Sept, you'll get an invite to our leadership summit happening Oct 22/23.  Email to find out more!
