On Labor Day we honor workers and those who advocate for workers’ rights — fair wages, safe working conditions, weekends, paid leave, and so much more.

From paying our workforce livable wages to improving working conditions, the fight for workers’ rights is far from over.

My team and I are standing up for workers by:

• Securing billions of dollars in additional pay for franchise workers with our successful No-Poach Initiative.
• Criminally prosecuting wage theft.
• Recovering stolen unemployment money and returning nearly $22 million back to the state’s unemployment system.

I am dedicated to continuing to hold wage theft violators accountable, defending Washington’s minimum wage, and improving access to jobs. As Attorney General, I will always advocate to improve the quality of life for all workers.

Today, let’s show our appreciation to workers everywhere, and to those who continue the fight for fair and just workers’ rights.
