Happy Labor Day, John!

Organized Labor has kept this country moving for centuries, and as your Congressman I am proud to stand with unions and hard-working Americans every day fighting for policies that promote the dignity of workers.

John, unions are the backbone of our Northwest Indiana economy, and I am grateful for their invaluable efforts to provide workers with a living-wage, a safe working environment, and a secure retirement.

In Congress, I serve on the House Committee on Education and Labor in order to support organized labor and a better future for all Indiana workers and their families. I’m proud of my efforts to fund infrastructure projects, Buy America requirements, Davis-Bacon wage protections, project labor agreements, and the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act.

This Labor Day, let us recommit to having the back of all of our union brothers and sisters and working as hard as they do each and every day to improve our economy and the quality of life for everyone.
