									 Dear Friends,
We have a lot to be grateful for this Labor Day. Thanks to our union movement and the
Democratic Party, the economy is recovering, union membership is on the rise, and we are shifting leverage from the entrenched special interests to America’s working families.
On Labor Day and every day, Democrats honor the legacy and ongoing commitment of the Labor Movement fighting side-by-side on behalf of America’s working families for
									fairness in our economy.
America’s workers are the drivers of opportunity and shared prosperity for our nation and the backbone of our Democracy. We give special thanks to the 1.2 million working
									veterans who are union members.
Because of the success of the Labor Movement and the sacrifice of generations of activists who organized and fought for the rights and dignity of workers, unions have
been and remain a force for progress in our country.
Our pro-union Democratic majority in the House has worked with President Biden to
rebuild the economy from the bottom up and the middle class out — and to make sure
that the middle class has a union label on it.
With the slimmest congressional majorities in history, we have made monumental
progress in the lives of the American people.
We passed the American Rescue package putting shots in arms, money in pockets,
getting children back safely in schools and workers back on the job.
									Without one Republican vote.
We passed the Infrastructure bill focused on rebuilding the economy in a green way with good paying union jobs and transportation justice to bring communities together with equity; creating 15 million good paying jobs over the next 10 years.
With only a few Republican votes.
We passed the CHIPS and Science bill to invest in STEM and specifically include more
women and people of color in STEM jobs; creating more than 1 million good jobs.
With only a few Republican votes.
We passed the Inflation Reduction Act to lower the cost of prescription drugs and cap the price on insulin for Medicare beneficiaries, saved the Affordable Care Act health
insurance subsidies and took action on the climate crisis by investing in a clean energy
transition; creating millions of good paying union jobs.
									Without one Republican vote.
We will never stop fighting For The People and For The Children. We demand justice for
our farm workers, our fast food workers, our essential workers — and union rights for all
									workers.
With your help, we can face the challenges ahead because: We don’t agonize, we
									organize, and we unionize!
P.S. While I have you, will you join us on Twitter?
Thank you for all that you do.
