Folks,
This Labor Day, I’m thinking about the trailblazers who gave us the five day work week, Social Security, paid time off, worker’s compensation, and so much more.

When our workers are taken care of – our economy is stronger. It’s important to remember that this is possible because of the sacrifices that were made by generations of tireless workers who were part of the labor movement.

The American workforce is continuing on its trajectory of historic rebounding which has shown us that workers’ rights matter now more than ever.

In Congress, I’ll continue the fight for good-paying jobs, protected pensions, apprenticeship and vocational training, and raising the minimum wage. It matters that Nevadans have a representative who they can count on to do all of those things plus more.

Enjoy your holiday and keep your thanks in mind for our resilient labor movement.
