John, I've got 12 minutes before my next meeting, and I'm going to spend it drinking a cup of coffee (milk, no sugar) while giving you a quick update on our must-win Senate race here in Nevada.
The latest news is, quite honestly, alarming: All eyes are on Nevada because this race is going to decide whether Democrats hold onto the Senate. CNN says I'm the most vulnerable senator in the entire country, and with polling showing me 1 point down, Republicans have made me their top target. Mitch McConnell and his extremist allies are spending more than $35 million on attack ads against me.
My team and I have a game plan to pull ahead in the polls and win, but it hinges on whether grassroots supporters like you donate in urgent moments like this.
So please – as somebody who has fought and won battleground races before – take it from me: with voting beginning next month, RIGHT NOW is when grassroots investment matters most.
