Recent polling shows Governor McKee ahead, but in a near-statistical tie with his main opponent. However, like the Governor, we have a plan!
Over the past year, our team has built strong ground game across the state, we’ve gained the support of organized labor and key state & local leaders, we’ve put together well-received television ads, and we’ve mapped out our get-out-the-vote plan for the final week.
This is our last public fundraising deadline before the September 13th election, and there’s no way to sugar coat it… we cannot afford to come up short tonight. If we don’t hit this critical goal, we’ll have to work extra hard to keep up with the Governor’s winning campaign budget.
With only 8 days to go and folks already casting early ballots, we just don’t have any wiggle room here.
