Hello, Happy Labor Day!

Today, we commemorate the strength of unions and celebrate the accomplishments of the greater labor movement that has made New York, and our country overall, a better place.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Unions built New York. They’re the backbone of our state, and play a crucial role in the fight for higher wages, safer workplaces, and better opportunities.

I have, and always will, stand in solidarity with organized labor and union members as they continue to advocate for what they deserve. The fight is ongoing, and I’m honored to share a common goal with our state’s workers. New York is #UnionStrong.
