Today is Labor Day, and I am honored to be a committed advocate for workers in Kansas. Several of the bills I helped pass into law this year will create good-paying, union jobs in our region and I promise, as long as I’m your representative, supporting workers will always be my top priority.
That’s why, for my most recent ad, I chose to highlight local construction workers who start their days at 6 AM to ensure we have strong roads and bridges.
I worked across the aisle to secure the largest infrastructure investment in our country’s history, meaning thousands of good-paying jobs, safer bridges, expanded broadband, and so much more for working families. With the recent passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, those investments, including in our healthcare and against climate change, are only going to continue.
