Happy Labor Day, John!

As we celebrate today, let's honor the legacy of America’s labor movement and the hard-won victories that benefit us all: Safe workplaces, paid leave, higher wages and more. Without labor unions, the protections we know and cherish would not exist.

While Republicans undermine the interests of working people and disregard economic inequalities, Democrats from Connecticut are committed to restoring power to working families and protecting the hard-won rights of the working class.

Workers are the backbone of our state and our nation. While we have come a long way since the beginning of the labor movement, there is still work to be done.
