Happy Labor Day, folks!
Before many of us enjoy a day of rest, let’s first remember all those who have fought for workers’ rights—whether on the shop floor, in the streets, or on the picket line.
Because whether it’s the 5-day workweek, overtime pay, workplace safety, anti-discrimination protections, or holidays like this one, we have the nation’s labor movement to thank for always having the backs of working people.
I’m running for Senate to continue the fight for working people because our work is nowhere near complete. It’s past time we get rid of our business-as-usual politics and help the folks who are working harder than ever before but continue to fall even further behind.
That’s my commitment to you as Ohio’s next U.S. Senator, and I humbly invite you to join me on this journey to put Ohio first and cut workers in on the deal.
Today, we rest. But tomorrow, we continue the fight to finally put workers first.
In Solidarity,
Tim Ryan
