From all of us here at AFGE we want to wish you a happy Labor Day!

We're honored each and every day to have you as a member of this great union. With your partnership we are able to continue to grow as a federation and fight for the rights of federal and D.C. government employees.

We are witnessing a historic moment in the labor movement. American workers are more supportive of labor unions than they have been in nearly 50 years. AFGE leaders and activists have played an important role in this shift. Through our organizing, representational and legislative initiatives we have mobilized and energized public sector workers in the struggle for fair pay, benefits, and working conditions.

Our solidarity with other labor groups and workers fighting for their voice on the job has shown American workers that when we unionize and mobilize our collective strength, there's nothing we can't accomplish.
