Happy Labor Day, JOHN!

Today, we honor the workers who organized to improve working conditions for people across the country. From the 40-hour work week to minimum wage and Social Security, we have a lot to thank the labor movement for.

I know that the path to a strong middle class starts with empowering workers and building unions. That's why I'll always stand with workers organizing to fight for better wages and working conditions.

I'm ready to go to Congress to fight for every worker’s right to organize. And I'm honored that our campaign has earned the endorsements of the Rhode Island AFL-CIO, the Rhode Island Building Trades Council and the unions representing nurses, teachers, hotel workers, healthcare workers, firefighters, truck drivers, and many more.

Today, please join me in honoring the accomplishments of the workers who came before us.
