I just wanted to take a moment to wish you a Happy Labor Day!

As we enjoy some time off today with our family and friends, it’s important to recognize the contributions of hardworking Americans.

I’m the son of a single mother who worked hard to start her own business and consistently sacrificed to put food on the table. I’ll always be grateful to workers like my mom who have contributed so much to our great country.

We’re a nation full of hardworking people. Now more than ever, we need to pursue policies that will make it easier for working families to prosper.

Again, I wish you and yours a safe and happy holiday as we celebrate the value of hard work!
