Hey Friend, Happy Labor Day! On Labor Day, we celebrate the great progress this country has made.
On Labor Day, I reflect on a lot of the lessons my mom taught me while I was growing up. My mom worked 16-hour days as a nurses aide to put food on the table for my brother and me. While this work was sometimes tedious and challenging, she taught me something I will never forget.
There is dignity in all work.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a CEO or a farmer. A banker or a nurse. All work is valuable.
And that’s why Labor Day means something to me. Any day we get to celebrate the great progress our country has made is a good one, but especially today!
How are you celebrating Labor Day, Friend? I’d love to know how you’re celebrating American progress.
