Happy Sunday, John! 

On weekends, when I have the time,  I like to take Chip on walks along the rail trail, where occasionally, he'll end up dragging me into the stream. 

I just got back from our walk, and I wanted to take a minute to update you on the state of this race as I sit with Chip, who's curled up as much as a 70-pound black lab can curl on this chair.


Mitch McConnell and his dark money allies are spending over $53 million on attack ads to defeat me; back-to-back polls show Don Bolduc – a far-right extremist – leading in the New Hampshire polls; and the Cook Political Report downgraded Democrats' chances of holding the Senate. On top of it all, a McConnell-aligned super PAC just made a $23 million ad buy in New Hampshire that will drown us out in the final weeks of the election.

That's a lot of bad news, I know.

So here's some good news. 

As one of the only two Democrats who flipped a Senate seat in 2016, a year where Democrats lost across the country, I know exactly what it takes to overcome the odds and win.  

The secret is you, John. We can't protect this seat and hold our vulnerable Senate majority without you chipping in when you can.

So I'm asking, will you chip in to my reelection campaign on this Sunday afternoon? The amount doesn't matter as much as the donation itself.
